Education & Prevention Outreach
At Bridging Freedom, we believe knowledge is power. We aim to increase community awareness about child sex-trafficking as a means to help prevent these terrible crimes.
The experts of Bridging Freedom have presented on panels with such organizations as the Department of Justice Human Trafficking Task Force, the Tampa FBI Innocence Lost Initiative, and various prominent anti-human-trafficking leaders.
We have presented at symposiums, trainings and workshops at the University of South Florida, St. Leo University’s International Sex Trafficking Seminar, Hillsborough County Commission on the Status of Women’s Fall Forum, For the Girls International, Human Services Coalition of Pinellas County’s Spring Networking Conference, Hillsborough County’s Children Services Advisory Board Meeting, Pinellas Family Law Advisory Group’s Meeting, Pasco County School Board Service Provider’s Kick-Off, and St. Leo University’s Gainesville Campus First Annual Human Services Symposium, and Directions Mental Health.
We have also provided prevention awareness to youth at PACE Center for Girls, and the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice Girls Academy.
We speak to corporations, society clubs, church congregations and other community groups, such as the Business and Professional Women’s Club of St. Petersburg, Marriott Tampa Bay Business Council Meeting, Kiwanis of Tampa, Hunters Green Rotary, Bay Area Pregnancy Center, Gulf Coast Community Church, Bayside Community Church.
